Your front door, measured and priced in one visit.
About half an hour at your house. We measure, you hold the real samples against your own brickwork, and you get the exact price before we leave.
Why the job never gets started.
You have probably been meaning to sort the front door for a year now. It has faded on the sunny side. It sticks in the wet months. A neighbour had theirs done in spring and yours has looked worse ever since.
What stops you is not the door. It is the not knowing. You cannot get a figure without someone coming round, and coming round means an evening gone and a price that somehow arrives higher than the one on the phone.
So the door stays as it is for another winter. Here is the other option.
What you are actually paying for.
Every door we fit is an Endurance composite door, made to your opening. These are the parts that matter.
48mm solid timber core
Most composite doors have a foam core. Endurance use solid timber, up to 10% thicker than most alternatives.
Anti-snap cylinder
Brisant Secure diamond grade cylinders, designed against lock snapping.
Over 70 designs
Traditional and modern. We bring the samples so you choose against your own brickwork, not a screen.
Colour, inside and out
Different colours inside and out if you want them.
Hardware you choose
Handles, letterboxes, knockers and glass, matched to the door.
10 year guarantee
On the door and the fitting.
Those are the facts about the door. We will not tell you what it does for your peace of mind. You can see the difference in your own doorway and decide that for yourself.
No, this is not a sales visit.
Most home improvement visits are exactly that. Ours is a measure and a price, not a presentation. Nobody sits down with a folder of finance options. Nobody phones head office for a manager’s discount. There is no head office, because Alan and Jon Beesley run the business themselves.
One of us arrives at the time agreed. Your door and frame are measured properly. The samples come out of the van and onto your step, so you see the colour against your brickwork in daylight rather than on a screen. Then you get the price, written down, with the door and the fitting included.
If the price works, you say so. If it does not, you keep the written figure and use it however you like. Plenty of people think for a month and come back. That is fine.
Front doors, back doors, patio, French and bi-fold.
Composite for the front, where the timber core matters. Aluminium and uPVC where the budget or the opening calls for it. Patio, French and bi-fold at the back. All measured on site, all fitted by us, all with the ten year guarantee.
Want to play with the colours and designs before you speak to anybody? Use the Endurance designer, save what you like, and we bring those samples when we come to measure.
Alan and Jon Beesley. Altrincham, since 2001.
We are a family business with a showroom opposite Altrincham football ground. Alan and Jon measure the job, and our own fitters install it. There is no sales team, so the person you speak to first is the person who turns up.
We have fitted windows and doors across South Manchester and Cheshire since 2001, and we are FENSA and BSI registered.
Same house. Same brick. Different door.
Every one of these was measured in about half an hour and fitted in an afternoon by the same team.
You enquire. We visit for half an hour. You get a price.
You fill in the form
We ring you and fix a time that suits.
We come out for about half an hour
Alan or Jon measures the opening and brings the samples so you can see the colours and glass against your own house.
You get the exact price
Written down, with the door and the fitting included. No follow up call with a better offer. The price is the price.
Fitting takes about an afternoon and is done by the same people who measured it. Lead time is usually 4 to 6 weeks from order.
The things people ask us.
Does the price include fitting?
Yes. The figure you are given covers the door and the fitting. Nothing is added later.
What if my frame is not square?
Most older frames round here are not. That is what the measure is for, and it is why the price comes after measuring rather than before.
Do I have to be in for the fitting?
Yes, for the three hours or so it takes. We need access to both sides of the doorway.
Which areas do you cover?
Altrincham, Hale, Timperley, Sale, Warrington, Northwich, Runcorn (WA7) and Lymm.
Can I try designs before anyone comes out?
Yes. The Endurance door designer lets you pick the style, colour, glass and hardware and see it on a house. Save the design and mention it on the form. We bring those samples to the visit.
Can I see the doors first?
The showroom is at 142 Moss Lane, Hale, opposite Altrincham FC. Or wait for the visit and see the samples on your own step, which tells you more about the colour than any showroom light will.
Get the number, then decide.
Half an hour after we visit you will know exactly what your new front door costs, in writing. There is no promotion attached to it and nothing that runs out at midnight, so the figure is the same whether you decide this week or in the spring. If you want it in before Christmas, doors take 4 to 6 weeks from order, so a measure by early November does it.
